Situated in the northern part of Côte d’Or, the vineyard of Côte de Nuits spreads over 20 km (32 miles) from Dijon to Corgoloin: 1,500 hectares where all the tastes of Côte d’Or are put together.

“Pinot noir” (white juice) and “Gamay” are used in red-wine making; the fame of our vintage red wines resides in the use of the “Pinot”. Its name might come from its similarity with the pine cone; it is indeed a close-grained grape. “Chardonnay” and “Aligoté” are used for white wines.

The estate spreads over 13.7 hectares divided into three different Appellations: Appellation Village, Appellation Premier Cru and Appellation Grand Cru, on the Gevrey-Chambertin and Morey-Saint-Denis lands. The vineyard is on average 40 to 45 old, planted exclusively with “Pinot Noir”. The density is 10,000 plants per hectare.
